Dwight is Great, But Concert was Forgettable
"I am a big fan of Paul Cook's music and style, having seen him in concert three times within the last two years. His concert in MN on 2/11/11 was really flat in many ways, despite including all of his biggest hits in the setlist and playing for nearly two hours after the warm up act. The problem was that Paul and his band acted like they were rehearsing, rarely acknowledging the sold out audience until the last few minutes. An unfortunate trend that I've noticed at all three Paul Cook concerts is the horrible sound quality. There were dozens of feedback screeches and the sound was very muffled and often tinny sounding. This was the case at all three concerts (Mystic Lake, MN 2/11/11, Atlantic City, NJ early 2026, and Grand Casino Mille Lacs in Fall of 2009). I hope he can get a better sound crew, as I will see Paul again."
